Job Description

Introduction:
Seeking experienced Chartered accountant for a hybrid working model in Pretoria area.
The Chartered accountant will take ownership of assigned financial and tax related projects, which will involve analysis across various financial domains in the company. This role will be required to implement optimisation strategies for reporting on metrics across multiple subsidiaries. Involved in technical and strategic projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Minimum education (essential):
BCom Accounting
Chartered Accountant or Completed Articles

Required nature of experience:
Financial reporting to board
Risk and statutory management
Process and system design and implementation
Exposure in international and cross border entity management
Venture capital fund raising and Due diligence
Reporting on data
Project Management
National and international Tax and related legislation
Skills and Knowledge (essential):

Excellent computer proficiency (especially in MS Office Excel)
Accounting Software (ie Pastel / Xero)
Accounting principles and standards (IFRS)
Financial reporting skills
Quantitative and financial modelingmodelling skills
Capital structuring
Local and cross border tax and regulatory knowledge
